Black Post Brackets for Wrought Iron Fencing
Wrought iron fencing is specially crafted from iron, meaning there is little for you to have to assemble yourself. Wrought iron consists of a few components: the posts, the panels, and the hardware that connects them. The panels and posts are often crafted together, leaving you to simply place and secure the sections in their positions. Other times, the posts are separate from the panel sections, in which case the posts are placed, and the panels are then attached. In either scenario, hardware, such as brackets, is required for assembly.
What are Post Brackets?
Post brackets are used to secure fence paneling to walls or another section of paneling. Brackets are placed along the side of or around the fence posts and are secured with carriage bolts. Post brackets feature pre-drilled pilot holes, providing a guide to secure it to the post or wall and the rail. Use self-tapping screws to drill into walls, posts, and rails, as they lively do not have pre-drilled holes, and use the carriage bolts to secure through the rail. Post brackets are offered individually or in pairs, as two brackets are commonly needed per post on either side of the fence panel.
Post Brackets for Wrought Iron Fencing
For wrought iron fencing, you will likely want to use the black powder-coated pressed steel brackets. The black color will match the fence and provide a seamless appearance. The black powder-coating is made of polypropylene, which is weather, rust, and fade-resistant.
