This 12' Long x 2" Square Fence Tubing is made of durable, galvanized steel that boasts corrosion-resistant, long-lasting performance. Chain link and ornamental fence systems use this tubing as load-bearing vertical posts for line, end, corner, and gate positions in standard-height 6' fencing. At 2" square and 12' long, it serves as a vertical post supporting full-height fencing, with a burial-depth allowance. Chain link installers set these at 10' intervals as line posts with 2' to 3' buried in concrete and 6' to 8' of exposed post above ground. The 2" profile also serves as terminal end posts and corner posts where tension bars and brace bands transfer wire tension to the post.
